LiveAction, “a new media movement for life” (www.LiveAction.org), releases the news and video exposing that Planned Parenthood Aids Pimp’s Underage Sex Ring. The staff member shown in the video has since been fired from Planned Parenthood. How shocking that the illegal, destructive “business” of a (self-described) pimp would be supported with such advice! It is hoped that the awareness this video produced will ultimately help girls be freed from such enslavement.

This evening (Tuesday, December 28th) the MTV program “16 and Pregnant” will air an episode highlighting 3 young women who chose abortion. Exhale, a helpline supported by Planned Parenthood, will launch a campaign entitled “16 and Loved” where young women can share their own post-abortion story.

Great idea, right? But they have missed an important part, perhaps the most important. What about those who still struggle with what happened? What about those who regret their abortion?

In response to this campaign Abortion Recovery International has launched its own helpline “16 and need Help“. Through this directory young girls will be able to read post-abortion stories of those who have experienced the grace and mercy of Christ, leave messages on boards for others and find an Abortion Recovery Consultant through the online zip code search. 

The mission is to help young women who may be hurting from abortion truly find the help they need.

Sanctity of Human Life Sunday is observed each January on the Sunday that falls closest to the anniversary of two legislations that changed abortion regulation. Churches around the nation will be observing this day, acknowleding the value of human life.  

On Sunday, January 24 churches around our area will join with us in helping all to know that all life is precious. How does your church celebrate?

Care Net President Melinda Delahoyde issued the following statement Monday regarding the murder of Kansas abortionist Dr. George Tiller:

“Care Net strongly condemns the brutal act of violence that ended the life of Dr. George Tiller on Sunday. It is never consistent with the pro-life ethic to take the life of another human being made in the image of God. Those responsible for the murder should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Our prayers will be with the family of Dr. Tiller and the entire Wichita community in the days ahead.”
